Complete remodel of a 1980s townhouse, characterized by a unique aesthetic that is clean and modern while feeling warm and classic. Dreary and claustrophobic spaces were transformed into something new: Bright and functional living spaces informed by simple lines, subtle art-deco inspired touches, and Moroccan elements.

The main level renovation included removing an unnecessary kitchen enclosure and constructing a new custom kitchen from scratch that addressed several design challenges.  An entry closet, original popcorn ceilings and carpet were also removed and replaced with improvements like adjustable built-ins, smooth ceilings and hardwood flooring.  The three bathrooms (including two private full baths upstairs) were redone to incorporate the client’s favorite Moroccan floor tile designs.  Small items like new baseboards and hardware helped to unify the design aesthetic throughout the unit.  New custom decorative lighting was provided by Character Projects.
