Restoration and remodel of a modest 1913 Craftsman bungalow in the foothills of Cypress Park.  Emphasis was placed on removing alterations and uncovering original period elements, as well as improving kitchen, bathroom, and laundry functionality.  Work included: a rebuilt foundation, demolished partitions to restore the original floor plan, a complete kitchen renovation with character cabinets and finishes and integrated washer/dryer cabinet, an all new period style bathroom with character finishes, original wood trim and built-ins in the living and dining rooms were stripped and restored, all new vintage lighting and door hardware (restored by Character Projects), restored original Arroyo Stone porch columns, many layers of miscellaneous flooring were removed and original doug fir and oak hardwood floors were restored or added throughout, all new drought tolerant landscaping was installed, and much more.  This was one of two different homes that were renovated on the same property.
