Remodel of a small nondescript 1940s traditional bungalow in the hills of El Sereno. Emphasis was placed on improving space utilization and adding character elements and architectural interest. Work included: a vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams, a wall of built-in shelves with integrated seating, a complete kitchen renovation with character cabinets and finishes and refinished original wood floors, a washer/dryer cabinet enclosure, restored art deco light fixtures, and complementary interior paint colors.
